What is she telling you?" " I knew you could do it. You got out of your own way. You slayed your dragons. You stopped being a victim. Thank you." This was our final session of 12.
Losing weight and becoming your healthiest self involves:
** Realizing you are in charge of your choices
** Raising your standards of what kind of choices you are making
** Believing you ARE, RIGHT NOW, someone who is active, eats beautifully, and takes great care of yourself.
BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND! PICTURE THE END NOW, AND YOU WILL NATURALLY MOVE TOWARDS IT.
Thinking about ourselves when we are older than whatever our age is now, whether we are 20 or 80 now, gets us connected with our current situation. Sounds odd, but it is true. Thinking about the future you most desire for yourself can help guide you to the changes you want to make NOW.
So I am saying 3 things in this blog:
You are not a victim. Own your choices.
Picture yourself older, and what you most desire for yourself at that age.
Practice BEING that person right now.
